Future projects

Karnataka has a large number of villages. They can be broadly classified into 3 categories:

1. Villages that have city-like facilities (schools, electricity, public water supply & sewage, hospital, telephone, and daily transportation)
2. Villages with moderate facilities
3. Villages with insignificant facilities

Pragathi will carefully choose a village in one of these categories. Once the village is chosen the specific project undertaken will be in our of 3 focus area (education, empowerment of women, or Standard of living). The choice will be based on where we can make a significant impact.

Other activities will include:

• Visits by Core team members to new project site
• Partner with similar agencies ( Rotary, AID, ….) to co-fund projects
• Increase fund raising activities (Through donations, HEB card program, Fund raising social events)
• Sports camps for children
• Organize local activities in Austin for Children that will serve to better the community and Raise funds
